Banana Bread – Delicious Sunday Dessert

Ingredients:

  • 3 ripe bananas, mashed
  • 1/3 cup melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • Pinch of salt
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1 large egg, beaten
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour

Instructions:

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×5 inch loaf pan with cooking spray.

In a large mixing bowl, combine the mashed bananas and melted butter.

Add the baking soda and salt to the mixture and stir until well combined.

Add the sugar, beaten egg, and vanilla extract to the bowl and mix well.

Gradually add the flour to the mixture, stirring until it’s fully incorporated.

Pour the batter into the greased loaf pan and smooth out the top with a spatula.

Bake the banana bread in the preheated oven for 50-60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the bread comes out clean.

Once it’s done baking, remove the Dessert from the oven and let it cool in the pan for 10-15 minutes.

Remove the banana bread from the pan and let it cool on a wire rack for an additional 10-15 minutes before slicing and serving.
