Hello everyone! Today I bring you a recipe that is perfect for any patriotic celebration, such as Independence Day or Memorial Day. Table of Content

Ingredients:

  • 1 box of 15.25 ounces of red velvet cake mix
  • ¼ cup of vanilla frosting
  • 4 cups of white chocolate chips
  • 4 teaspoons of coconut oil
  • ¼ cup of blue sprinkles
  • ½ cup of red sprinkles
  • 36 4-inch lollipop sticks
  • 1 piece of hard foam of 10 x 12 x 1 inches

Preparation:

  1. Bake the red velvet cake according to the package instructions and let it cool completely.
  2. Crumble the cake in a large bowl and mix with the vanilla frosting.
  3. Form balls with the cake mixture and place a lollipop stick in each one.
  4. Melt the white chocolate chips with the coconut oil in the microwave.
  5. Dip each cake pop in the melted chocolate and then sprinkle with blue or red sprinkles.
  6. Let the cake pops dry completely before serving.

These cake pops are a real showstopper and taste even better than they look. They are the perfect dessert for any summer party.

To accompany these delicious cake pops, I would recommend a fresh lemonade for the kids. It’s refreshing and perfectly complements the sweetness of the cake pops. For adults, a champagne cocktail with red fruits would be an excellent choice. The fruity and bubbly flavor of the champagne is a perfect counterpoint to these sweets.

I hope you enjoy making and eating these American Flag Cake Pops as much as I do. Happy patriotic holidays to all!
